Dubai is well known for its surprising amount of skyscrapers, the city currently has 25 buildings higher than 300 meters built, which is much more than any of other cities in the world.

The city is still a busy construction site for skyscrapers, aside from those completed towers, Dubai has 16 towers above 300 meters under construction and more proposed listed below.

As of September 2018, there are 16 supertall skyscrapers under construction in Dubai.

Dubai Creek Tower

Dubai Creek Tower is set to become the new tallest building in Dubai and the world, construction has started in late 2016.

Also known as Jumeirah Gate, it is a beachfront hotel project located in the vicinity of Ain Dubai, which will become the tallest Ferris Wheel in the world. The building comprises of two supertall towers that connected by a bridging structure atop the building and a podium on the ground.

Dubai Pearl consists of four supertall skyscrapers, and connected by a super-long bridging structure on the roof.

Dubai One

Dubai One will be built in a new district in the vicinity of Downtown, the district is named Meydan City. The tower will be topped out at a height of 711 meters with no tapering, and no spires or antennas atop the peak like on Burj Khalifa that for getting an extra amount of height. An observation deck will be added to the uppermost floor which is at 695 meters from the ground.

Previously named Burj 2020, the tower was proposed to catering to the upcoming 2020 World EXPO and set to become the tallest commercial building in the world, the tower will be built in Dubai Multi Commodities Center, a district only a few kilometers south of Dubai Marina.

The developer had announced that Burj 2020 will have an observation deck.

Pentominium

A revolving building, may become the first dynamic building, it can displays many shapes as its each floor revolves at different paces. The project was once cancelled, but revived later for the upcoming 2020 World EXPO.

Marina Gate Tower 1

Don't be confused with the Residences at Marina Gate besides the Palm Jumeirah.

As shown in the picture below, the tower is situated near to a new artificial island, the sky wheel seen on the island will become the tallest sky wheel in the world and is currently under construction.
